A very warm welcome to our newly created Friends of Lady Barn Community website.

Lady Barn celebrates its 150^th Anniversary in 2023 and to honour this remarkable achievement for co-education, we felt it was right for those who have supported us along the way to be able to join us in commemoration.

The Friends of Lady Barn community aims to bring together current families, former pupils, their families and staff all into one trusted and engaging environment where we can share memories, stories and reconnect with those we may have lost touch with along the way. We hope the community is not only a nostalgic journey but will bring networking opportunities that everyone can utilise, both socially and professionally. The Clubs page will be most useful for this.

Work began in 2021 to start collecting and digitalisation our archive while also building this alumni website. Delving into the past and discovering the history of Lady Barn has been an exciting task. We have managed to rescue documents such as registration books and school reports written in the 19^th century from the cellar as well as sport teams and school trip photos from more recent decades. However, we do not have everything, and we are hoping this website will help Old Barners find lost photos that their classmates have kept hold of. If you do have any photos you think would be suitable for our collection, please email them to: friends@ladybarnhouse.org with as much information as possible and we shall upload them to the Gallery. We would also be delighted to hear of any success stories of life after the blue blazer or any memories you wish to share with our News section so that we can continue to build on the legacies of Lady Barn House School.

Lastly, over the next few months, we shall be updating the Events page, with numerous different events that will lead up to and follow the 150^th Anniversary Ball in May 2023. We are expecting to host alumni talks, fundraising events and reunions, and it would be great to see as many of you there as possible...so keep an eye out!
